There’s no place like the Penobscot Bay YMCA—and we’re so grateful that you help make it a place where everyone belongs. 

Every day, your support helps a child learn to swim, gives a family access to safe and nurturing child care, creates connection for older adults, and ensures that no one is turned away because they cannot afford to participate.

Our 2026 Annual Support Campaign goal is $275,000, and every gift and pledge brings us closer. We hope you’ll consider renewing or increasing your gift this year. At a time when families are feeling the squeeze of rising costs, the Y is working hard to keep programs affordable and accessible. Your increased support helps us meet that growing need today and tomorrow!

A generous group of Y supporters has committed up to $100,000 to match gifts made to the Penobscot Bay YMCA from now through Giving Tuesday, December 1.

Your gift to the Y this year helps our community thrive by funding these free and low-cost programs for people of every age, background, and ability:

• 900+ individuals & families receive Y Membership & Financial Assistance

• 500+ children nurtured in Early Child Care, Summer Camp & After School programs

• 14,000+ free After School Snacks served, plus food support through our Help Yourself Shelf

• 55+ youth receive free Swim Lessons to ensure safety around water for all

• 3,000+ youth & adults reached through PBCHP’s free Community Health Programming
