Membership Definitions

• Youth - Birth through High School
• Young Adult - Ages 18 through 21
• Adult - Ages 22 through 61
• Senior - Age 62 years and older
• Senior Couple - 2 adults in household with one being 62 or older
• Couple - 2 adults in household with no dependents 
• Single Parent Family - One adult in household with dependents through high school.
• Family - 2 adults in household with dependents through high school. (A college student, with proof of a minimum 12 credits, may be on a Family or Single Parent Family membership.)

MILITARY FAMILIES

All Active Duty personnel and their families receive 50% off of their membership fee with a 12-month commitment. Proof of eligibility (military ID, deployment papers, etc) must be provided each year to the Y to maintain this discount. Please stop by our Welcome Desk or call the Y at 236.3375 to learn more.

UNEMPLOYMENT MEMBERSHIPS

The Y welcomes all individuals who are experiencing the loss of a job with a one-time, 3-month complimentary membership. Please provide a letter from the Maine Department of Labor as proof of unemployment upon joining.

TOURS

Come on by! The Penobscot Bay YMCA and the Rockland Harbor YMCA invites anyone to utilize our services and facility. You are welcome to stop in and tour the facilities at your convenience.

LOST AND FOUND

Due to a lack of storage space, we can only hold lost items for one week from the day they were placed in the lost and founds bin. At that time, all items will be donated to a local charity.
