2025 SUMMER CAMP ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENING DATES:

Wednesday, February 5 at 5:30 PM: Penobscot Bay YMCA members enrolling in all camps
Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30 PM: Non-members enrolling in all camps.

Once registered, you will receive a link to complete the Summer Camp Enrollment Form, which includes payment instructions and all required waivers. Please complete the required paperwork within 10 days of receiving the link to avoid any delays at camp drop-off.

HOME BASE LOCATION: Thomaston Municipal Building (old Lura Libby School)

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT:

This all day camp runs from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Camp Wonder is for campers entering grades 2 - 5.
Campers will experience traditional camp excitement with a cool new twist each week including field games, arts & crafts, nature hikes, STEM projects, canoeing and more!
Camp Wonder will enjoy field trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays to local parks, beaches, and other exciting adventures. The bus departs at 9:30 AM and returns at 3:30 PM, except for certain lengthier trips.
Campers wishing to swim without a personal floatation device (PFD) will be swim tested.
All campers must be checked in by Y Camp Staff.
Camp Counselors are certified in First Aid, CPR & AEDs with some being Red Cross Certified Lifeguards. Our staff have also been trained in bullying prevention.
A low camper-to-staff ratio makes our camp a perfect choice for parents who need a fun, safe place for their children during summer break with safety being their #1 priority.

Before Care & After Care:

Before & After Care are available for this camp at the Thomaston Municipal Building for an additional fee.
Before Care runs from 7:30 - 9:00 AM.
After Care runs from 4:00 - 5:30 PM.
Campers enrolled in After Care will stay at the Thomaston Municipal Building and must be picked up by 5:30 PM.

Week 2: June 30 - July 3*
Week 3: July 7 - 11
Week 4: July 14 - 18
Week 5: July 21 - 25
Week 6: July 28 - August 1
Week 7: August 4 - 8
Week 8: August 11 - 15

*4-Day Week - Prorated Camp Rate

WEEKLY COST:

Members: $190/week
Participants: $240/week
Prorated Week 2: $155 Members / $195 Participants

Before & After Care: $40/week (for each). If registered by May 31, Before & After Care requires a 50% down payment. If registered after, Before & After Care must be paid in full.
