Penobscot Bay YMCA Board Member
My perception of the Y will always be permeated with fond memories of my own childhood. My hometown Y was where I (reluctantly) learned to swim. Where my Mom would drop me off on Saturdays to play basketball, swim, and just hang out in the game room. So I immediately joined this Y when I moved here in 2013, and have discovered my memories of my childhood experience pale in comparison to what this Y is to this community. Our daughter has gone through the entire daycare/preschool program and is now thriving at CRES, in large part I believe because of the amazing Y staff. I am proud to have recently joined the board, as I feel no other organization serves such a broad and diverse group of constituents.
