Free Cooking for Health & Longevity class beginning soon

Open to all adults, YMCA members & non-members, both beginner cooks and experienced alike!

 
Are you concerned about high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes? How would it feel to create healthy, budget-friendly meals for yourself or a loved one?
This hands-on 12-week series will empower you to lower your risk of chronic disease, stretch your food dollars, and cook delicious, heart-healthy meals.

Cost: FREE (registration required). 
This series is made possible by funding from the Maine Rural Health Transformation Grant and Nourish ME program. Featuring science-backed cardiovascular lifestyle strategies from the American Heart Association's Healthy for Good initiative and the Cooking Matters recipes for eating healthy on a budget.
