Collecting Donations for Shop for Hope

From Friday, May 1 to Friday, May, 29, we will be accepting donations of high-quality new and gently used clothes and accessories for New Hope Midcoast's Shop for Hope event. This annual sale of new and gently used adult and children's clothing and accessories is held each summer.

Clothes may be for the whole family, for all seasons, and of sizes (children's must be new with tags only). Accessories are jewelry, footwear, hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, and bags.

We kindly ask that clothes be free of stains and tears. We do not accept suits. For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept used swimwear and used undergarments. Thank you for your understanding.

You can drop off donations to the collection box in the lobby of the Penobscot Bay YMCA or Rockland Harbor YMCA. Shop for Hope summer sale will take place July 16-18 at the Flanagan Center. Net proceeds benefit work with individuals affected by domestic abuse.
