2025 SUMMER CAMP ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENING DATES:

Wednesday, February 5 at 5:30 PM: Penobscot Bay YMCA Members
Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30 PM: Non-Members

Once registered, you will receive a link to complete the Summer Camp Enrollment Form, which includes payment instructions and all required waivers. Please complete the required paperwork within 10 days of receiving the link to avoid any delays at camp drop-off.

HOME BASE LOCATION: Hope Elementary School

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT:

This all day camp runs from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Hope Explorers Camp is divided in two age groups:
- Hope Explorers Juniors: entering grades 2-4 this fall
- Hope Explorers Seniors: entering grades 5-7 this fall
Campers will experience traditional camp excitement with a cool new twist each week including field trips, field games, arts & crafts, nature hikes, STEM projects, canoeing and more!
Hope Explorers will enjoy three field trips each week. The bus departs at 9:30AM and returns at 3:30PM, except for lengthier trips:
- Junior field trips on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- Senior field trips on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
All campers must be checked in by Y Camp Staff.
Campers wishing to swim without a personal floatation device (PFD) will be swim tested.
Camp Counselors are certified in First Aid, CPR & AED with several being Red Cross Certified Lifeguards. Our staff have also been trained in bullying prevention.
A low camper-to-staff ratio makes our camp a perfect choice for parents who need a fun, safe place for their children during summer break with safety being their #1 priority

BEFORE & AFTER CARE:

Before & After Care is available for this camp at the Hope Elementary School for an additional fee.
Before Care runs from 7:30 - 9:00 AM.
After Care runs from 4:00 - 5:30 PM.
Campers enrolled in After Care will stay at the Hope Elementary School and must be picked up by 5:30 PM.

Week 1: June 23 - 27
Week 2: June 30 - July 3*
Week 3: July 7 - 11
Week 4: July 14 - 18
Week 5: July 21 - 25
Week 6: July 28 - August 1
Week 7: August 4 - 8
Week 8: August 11 - 15

*4-Day Week - Prorated Camp Rate

WEEKLY COST:

Members: $210/week
Non-Members: $260/week
*Prorated Week 2: $170 Members / $210 Non-Members

Before & After Care: $40/week (for each). If registered by May 31, Before & After Care requires a 50% down payment. If registered after, Before & After Care must be paid in full.
