Ready to become a certified lifeguard? This blended course combines flexible online learning (about 6–7 hours, completed at your own pace) with an engaging in-person skills session where you’ll practice lifesaving rescues, CPR/AED, first aid, and emergency response techniques.
Participants must be at least 15 years old by the final day of the course and complete a swim test on Day 1, including a 150-yard continuous swim using front crawl and breaststroke, two minutes of treading water using legs only, and a timed skills challenge retrieving a 10-lb object from 7–10 feet of water.
Upon successful completion, you’ll earn Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid certifications (valid for two years), giving you the skills and confidence to respond to aquatic emergencies and help keep your community safe.
