Summer Camp Campaign

Every child deserves the magic of summer camp.

At the Penobscot Bay YMCA, we offer some of the only affordable, full-day camps in Midcoast Maine—providing essential child care for working parents in our community. But rising costs and reduced state subsidies mean more families need help than ever before.

We’re raising $90,000 to keep camp affordable for all. Your gift makes it possible.

Your support of our Summer Camp Campaign ensures that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can experience the joy, growth, and connection that camp brings. Nearly 300 local children participate in our Y camps each summer and over 20% access financial assistance.

Camp gives children:

- A break from screens and the chance to explore the outdoors through hikes and field trips

- Time to build lasting friendships

- Encouragement from caring mentors who nurture confidence and resilience
