Our community is invited to attend the Y's Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 2nd from 6:00-7:00 PM.
Job Type: Seasonal
Category: Summer Camp
Come join the fun for summer 2019! Be a positive role model to children in our community. Camp counselors provide a safe, nurturing and positive environment for all camp participants, ensuring that campers have a fun and enriching experience. By leading by example, counselors shall teach the campers the importance of the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.
This is a great summer job for students considering a career in education to gain valuable experience in the field. Spend your summer outdoors being active, having fun and making a positive difference in the lives on the kids in our community.
We prefer camp counselors to have a lifeguard certification and will pay for the course for qualified applicants. Counselors with lifeguard certification earn $1 per hour more than counselors without the certification.
