*A Wear & Tear Fee is a one-time fee, at the start of a new membership. Fees will be utilized to help refurbish and maintain our equipment. If a membership lapses more than 30 days, the fee must be paid again. Monthly membership dues have a 12-month commitment. Month-to-month memberships must have a 3-month minimum.
In an effort to better engage and serve new members, the Y offers 90 days of free programming for members who elect to join for at least one year (12-month commitment). These programs will include all exercise, yoga and swim classes, recreational sports, climbing, and small group personal training of 2-4 people (some exclusions apply - please see our front desk for details).
Members are encouraged sample programs and find the right fit for their needs, but sign up for classes is on a first come, first serve basis. If a session has already begun, it will be at the instructor's discretion if a member can sign up for a class that is progressive; for safety reasons, the member may be asked to wait for the start of a new session to sign up.

Families of active duty military personnel may receive a complimentary Y membership. Active duty orders and military ID must be presented when joining. For more information, please stop by our Member Service Desk or call the Y at 236.3375.
The Y welcomes all individuals who are experiencing the loss of a job to a 3-month complimentary membership. Please provide proof of unemployment upon joining.
Come on by! The Penobscot Bay YMCA and the Rockland Harbor YMCA invites anyone to utilize our services and facility. You are welcome to stop in and tour the facilities at your convenience.
Due to a lack of storage space, we can only hold lost items for one week from the day they were placed in the lost and founds bin. At that time, all items will be donated to a local charity.
